CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Carolina Panthers and Atrium Health Levine Children’s worked together, bringing Halloween fun to hospitalized children on Tuesday.

Players like kicker Eddy Piñeiro showed up for the fun, as well as some TopCats and SirPurr.

The group helped spread joy through an array of activities, which included the following:

  • Pumpkin decorating
  • Tote bag painting
  • Reading with the TopCats
  • Photobooth
  • Fun treats!

“It’s hard being in the hospital,” said the event’s coordinator, Carrie Kauten. “It’s hard on mom and dads, caregivers. The fact they might be able to get to see their child smile for the first time with an event like this or to come out of a room for the first time. It’s amazing. It really, truly is.”
