CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte Christian is off to an impressive 2-0 start in a year of transition. But even with a new head coach and a budding dynasty program down the street on Sardis Road in Providence Day, they are out to prove they are still capable of winning a state championship.

Charlotte Christian is one of the movers and shakers in this week’s edition of FFN OT. Mountain Island Charter and North Meck also had impressive performances last week and deserve to be movers and shakers.

This week’s FFN Game of the Week is Independence at West Charlotte. A big rivalry that will be renewed at Martin Stadium this Friday night as both programs make their climbs back to elite status.

We also have previews of some of the other big games in week 3 including Catholic at Providence Day, Robinson at Concord, West Forsyth at Weddington, Watauga at Maiden, and Crest at Shelby.
