CMPD investigating after one killed, 1 injured in south Charlotte
The incident took place around 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Branchview Drive. Medic says one other person was injured.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in south Charlotte.
The incident took place around 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Branchview Drive. Medic says one other person was hurt with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the person killed was found inside a car.
Police are on scene and more information will be provided when available.
