Nice Easter Sunday before a WET Monday!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Soak up today for all it’s worth because tomorrow’s weather leaves much to be desired.

• Rainy, cool Monday
• Temps increase the rest of the week

Your Easter Sunday will go from mainly cloudy in the morning to mainly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 70s with rain holding off until later this evening. Showers could start to pop up late, as a low pressure system moves in from the southwest.

Rain chances increase overnight, and it will be here in full force first thing on Monday morning. At least the first half of the day looks to be a wash-out. Showers will be more scattered by the afternoon. It will be cool all day though. Highs never make it past the mid 50s.

Things start to look up from there. We will be mainly dry for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will reach the mid 70s on Thursday and the low 80s on Friday and Saturday.
