Silver Alert issued for Matthews man
Jagawn Govens is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment and is in need of his medication
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Jagawn Govens.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Jagawn Govens, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment and is in need of his medication.
Govens is a 23-year-old Black male standing at 6′2″ and weighing 210 pounds. He has short, black hair and brown eyes, a P and city background tattooed on his right forearm, and a scar under his left eye.
He was last seen walking west on Monroe Road in Matthews with the intention of going to the McDonald’s at Monroe and Sardis Road North.
He may be carrying a red and black Nike duffle bag.
