Bomb threat called in to Myers Park High School

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Myers Park High School was on partial lockdown through part of the afternoon today after a bomb threat was called in.
According to a statement released to families by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a bomb threat was called in earlier in the day. Students were at the school attending Camp CMS.
Officers with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Police Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were called to search the buildings.
“Our highest priority is the safety of our students and staff and all are safe,” read the statement.
The all-clear was announced around 12:20 p.m.
