Police investigate deadly stabbing in south Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Police say a person was stabbed to death in an apparent homicide in south Charlotte.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call for an assault with a deadly weapon on the 4800 block of Doris Ave. Police say they found 69-year-old Calvin Hilton had been stabbed. MEDIC pronounced him dead on scene.
This is Charlotte’s 58th reported homicide this year.
