Man wanted by Cabarrus Sheriff for sex crimes is arrested in Rowan County

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A man accused of sex crimes involving children in Cabarrus County was arrested in East Spencer by Rowan County deputies on Sunday.

Joshua James Jackson, 34, was arrested at a location on Pine Tree Drive. He was charged with four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.

According to the arrest warrant, Jackson committed “lewd and lascivious acts” on a child younger than the age of 16. One charge comes from an incident with a child in 2019, the other three are from incidents occurring from April 2020 to December 2020.

Bond for Jackson was set at $20,000.
