Longtime Myrtle Beach firehouse dog passes away

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Fire Department is paying tribute to a longtime firehouse dog.

The department announced the death of Tower the Dalmatian Sunday night.

“Tower lived with our crews at Station 1 for many years before retiring to live with one of our firefighters and their family. Rest in peace Tower and thank you for making the firehouse a better place!” the department wrote on Facebook.
