Semi-truck catches fire in crash along I-85 NB in Gaston County

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A semi-truck caught fire in a crash along I-85 northbound near the South Fork Catawba River Wednesday morning, causing a 3-mile backup.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. along I-85 northbound near Exit 23 in McAdenville. The crash was cleared just before 6:30 a.m.
