Driver crashes into trees, killed off of York County highway

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (WBTV) - A person died after veering off the side of the road and crashing into several trees in York County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the driver of a 2012 Nissan was not wearing seltbelt when they lost control on Lockhart Highway, about three miles south of Sharon. The driver died at the scene.

No other information was provided.
