East Charlotte house fire displaces four adults, two children
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Four adults and two children were displaced when their east Charlotte home caught fire Friday morning.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. on Harrill Street in the Belmont neighborhood near uptown.
The Charlotte Fire Department says the fire was determined to be accidental and caused by an electrical issue on the back porch. Damages are estimated to be around $20,000. Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
No injuries were reported.
