Temps moderate a little after today

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Even with sunshine, temperatures have struggled today. Highs will end up close to the average of 51.

We will see mainly dry conditions for most of the area today. The mountains could still see a few flurries or a quick snow shower.

Be safe if you’re travelling home from a mountain ski trip this evening. Expect icy patches.

The next two days will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 50s. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s.

The end of the week brings a small rain chance. There’s a 20% chance on Thursday and a 30% chance on Friday. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

The weekend will bring another cooldown. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 50s and Sunday will keep us in the upper 40s.
