CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Whether it’s a special occasion, just for fun, or you got up too late for breakfast, who doesn’t love a good brunch?
If you’re having brunch at home, why not have some fun with it and make a brunch board? Chrissie Nelson Rotko is an author and blogger. She joined us on QC Morning to give us some ideas on items to place on your own board. Chrissie says boards are definitely for any time of the day. She says the charcuterie boards and cheese boards have really been taken to the next level. Chrissie says you can create snack boards or even cocktail boards.
Tips on brunch boards:
- Pick a theme like bagels, waffles, or pancakes. You can even do a cocktails board.
- Focus on one brunch item and then add a few items that accompany that item. So for example, if you’re doing bagels, you might add cream cheese and smoked salmon.
- Round out your board with some sweet bites. You could add grapes, bananas, or honey.
