CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Welcome to December!
As the calendar flipped, so did our weather pattern.
After seeing highs in the 60s and 70s over the past week, we failed to rise above the mid-40s on this Tuesday.
Unlike the other cold snaps, we’ve seen this Fall, this time we won’t see a 20 or 30 degree rebound over the next few days.
Instead, we will work our way back into the mid and upper 50s, but that’s about it.
Along with the chilly pattern, the weather will remain quiet through Thursday.
Showers arrive again Friday with the best chance later Friday afternoon and evening as the heaviest rain may hold off until the overnight hours.
If you’re worried about the weekend, it appears the rain will quickly depart very early Saturday morning and skiers will be happy to hear another round of wraparound snow will return on the backside of this system Friday night and early Saturday.
This won’t be a repeat of the heavy snow we experienced this past Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Enjoy the week!
