LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. (WBTV) - Elementary students will be returning to school in-person four days a week in Lancaster County.
Lancaster County School District officials say they will be bringing back elementary school students, grades K-5 on Monday, Dec. 7.
These students will be back in classrooms for four days a week, Monday through Thursday, with Friday being a flex day.
On that Friday flex day, teachers will work with students who are still in virtual learning.
As for Middle or High School students, they will either stay on an AB schedule or virtual.
The AB schedule will change starting Dec. 7. All students with the A schedule will be in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays, while students with the B schedule will be in-person on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students with the AB schedules will have a flex day on Friday.
Officials say it will be the second semester before the Middle and High School students move to four days a week.
