CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - As the country continues to protest the death of George Floyd, pro athletes and teams also express their outrage and on Sunday, Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan released a statement in part saying “we have had enough.”

Here is the complete statement.

In the past, Jordan has received criticism during times like these for not speaking out more. Fair or unfair can be debated but this time, he is speaking loud and clear.

“I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry," said Jordan. “I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration. I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country. We have had enough.”

Yesterday, the Carolina Panthers released a statement as well.
