CHESTERFIELD COUNTY S.C. (WBTV) - A man is being sought in connection with a deadly stabbing in Chesterfield County.

Anthony Dewayne Johnson, 29, was found dead inside a home on Harris Road in Cheraw Tuesday, deputies say. Johnson reportedly had multiple stab wounds.

Friday, deputies said they identified James Malique Gross as a person of interest in the case.

Gross could possibly be driving a 2006 champagne-colored Nissan Maxima with North Carolina plate HEA 3945. He may be in the Cheraw area of Chesterfield County.

Anyone with information on Gross’ whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 843-623-2101.
