CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man was arrested in a SWAT situation that unfolded in Rock Hill Tuesday morning.
Ramon Hope, 40, was served warrants for kidnapping and domestic violence following a domestic violence report by his girlfriend Monday night.
Police say they were called to a home around 5:24 p.m. Monday on East Black Street, where a woman claimed her boyfriend, Hope, had assaulted her and held her against her will when she tried to leave. She called police after Hope left.
Officers attempted to serve warrants on Hope Tuesday morning around 7:30 but say he refused to come out of the home on East Black Street.
SWAT and other officers successfully negotiated and Hope was served warrants for kidnapping and domestic violence.
