CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The weekend is looking dry and cool, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, and high temperatures around 55 degrees on Saturday, and around 50 degrees on Sunday. Make sure you have a jacket if you are heading out Saturday evening for the ACC Football Championship game, with temperatures expected to cool into the lower 40s as the game goes on.
A FIRST ALERT has been issued for next Monday and Tuesday, as better chances for widespread rain (and a few thunderstorms) develop. High temperatures get back into the upper 50s for Monday, with mid to upper 60s likely for Tuesday afternoon. A cold front will move across the region on Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures by midweek next week.
