CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A bomb threat that was called into Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on Friday evening resulted in one person being detained and an investigation underway with law enforcement officials.
Officers with CMPD first responded to the threat at the airport at around 5:00 p.m.
Upon initially looking into the matter, an individual was placed int custody. As of 6:40 p.m., the ‘all-clear’ had been given on the matter.
No further information has been released at this time.
