COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The backup punter for the University of South Carolina has been arrested for DUI and reckless driving.

Michael Almond, number 85, was taken into custody sometime this morning.

Almond, a redshirt senior for the Gamecocks, has played in four games for Carolina. During that time, he has punted the ball twice and kicked off once.

He is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
