Holocaust survivor Dr. Susan Spatz passes away at age 97

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Dr. Susan Spatz, a Holocaust survivor, has passed away at the age of 97.
During World War II, she spent time in Auschwitz-Birkenau Death Camp.
As an esteemed member of the UNC Charlotte faculty, Dr. Spatz would conduct tours to Auschwitz.
Dr. Spatz is survived by her three children. A memorial service is planned this weekend at Temple Beth El.
