STOKES COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A missing 15-year-old North Carolina girl who emergency crews were searching for has been found “safe and sound,” according to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office.
Cheyenne Sizemore was reported missing from her home in Meadows, N.C., on Sunday. Few details about her disappearance were made public, but according to the Stokes County Fire Marshal crews were out searching for her Sunday night.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said that Sizemore had been found.
“Sheriff Mike Marshall and the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all of the public’s help with finding this child,” the department said.
No further details were released.
