CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) - ClearWater Artist Studios is establishing a community of creative social energy in Gibson Village and emerging as a destination in Concord’s center-City area.

The former City water works and utility operations facilities have been reimagined and redeveloped over the last decade, and now host dozens of artists, community events, and more.

A new video is on clearwaterartists.com showcasing everything ClearWater has to offer and plans for the future.

According to a section on the website, ClearWater Artist Studios is a Community Development Project of the City of Concord. It is reclaimed old buildings that have been re-defined and given new life.

It is a place where artists may build their practice, and the community may gain access to artists and artistic inspiration.

Here, artists find community with other artists; and the space and resources to support their business of art. Here, the community may get involved as much as they wish.

ClearWater offers spaces to gather, create and learn. Impresarios of any stripe may find the perfect place to hold their own public or private events.
