CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - We will likely see our first 90° day of the season over the next few days, and while it’s possible today, we’ll probably stop just short in the upper 80s, before a better shot at hitting 90° - or even a little above - on Saturday. Sunday is still quite warm, in the upper 80s, and unlike the last two stormy weekends, both days this weekend look to remain mostly dry.
An isolated storm can’t be ruled out in the mountains, with no more than about a 10-20% for something to develop outside of there today through Sunday.
There could be a couple more scattered storms Monday evening, but even still that doesn't look like anything terribly wide-spread.
With a lack of any true rain in the forecast, the warmth will remain the big headline, with temps in the upper 80s to near 90° through the end of next week if not into the Memorial Day weekend.
Hope you have a great Friday and weekend!
