KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (WBTV) - A man has been charged in connection to the death of a man who died of a fentanyl overdose.
In July 2018, officers found Shaun Antonio Alexander unresponsive at a home. It was determined that Alexander died from an apparent drug overdose.
Kannapolis officials collected evidence and conducted interviews over the months. Officials say Bruck Fekadu was the person responsible for selling him the drug.
Fekadu was charged with second degree murder and selling schedule II controlled substance. He was taken into custody by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers and was transferred to the Kannapolis Police Department.
