CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The slow-moving front that brought several rounds of rain to the area over the Mother’s Day weekend has now slipped to our east and drier air is filtering in from the west.
As a result, get set for a nice day, complete with mostly sunny skies, lowering humidity and a warm breeze out of the west. Highs will be close to – if not a little below average – in the middle 70s.
Clear and much cooler tonight with lows settling back in to the 40s – even some 30s in the mountains - and we’ll stay very nice Tuesday and Wednesday with sunshine dominating, comfortable humidity levels and afternoon readings holding in the 70s.
We turn a little bit warmer late week with high temperatures rebounding into the 80s for Thursday and Friday. As of now, isolated storms (20%-30% chance) are possible over the weekend, but overall, it should be a much drier weekend than the last two we've had with highs in the upper 80s.
Hope you have a great week!
