CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - After an unsettled weekend, we are looking high and dry for most of the week ahead. With high pressure building in, we could very well remain dry all week long in many places.
Temperatures will become the bigger story. For the first half of the week, we will be in the low to mid 70s. Humidity levels will be low too. It will actually be cool first thing in the mornings.
By the end of the week, the very same high pressure system will start to turn our winds out of a warmer direction. That will mean we start to warm up… a lot. We will be in the mid 80s on Thursday and Friday.
Over the weekend, we could be close to 90°! Rain chances go up slightly. It looks like the best rain chances will be in the mountains. There’s a 20% chance on Friday and that goes up to 30% over the weekend. Still, those chances are much lower than that last few weeks.
Have a great evening!
