Customized 1975 Chevy Caprice stolen in south Charlotte
Police are searching for the person responsible for stealing the 1975 Chevy Caprice

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A customized 1975 Chevy Caprice was stolen while inside of a trailer in south Charlotte.

Officers with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department say they responded to reports of a breaking and entering at Creative Customs on South Boulevard just before 7:30 a.m. April 25.

The robber cut the lock off a fence and stole the trailer where the car was being stored, police say. The trailer had red skid prevention wheels on the back.

The suspected car is described as a white Chevrolet Single Cab with stickers in the top right and the top left back window. The car also has damage to the right front fender, right bed rail and black rims.

The robber was dressed in all black with their face covered and wearing gloves.
