Charlotte man wanted for multiple crimes, including kidnapping and cutting off monitoring device
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, 23-year-old Jon-Alexander Kwiagaye is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Police say a Charlotte man is wanted for multiple crimes including kidnapping and interfering with his monitoring device.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, 23-year-old Jon-Alexander Kwiagaye is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Police say Kwiagaye was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release.

On Monday, officials say Kwiagaye cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of Piney Grove Road in Charlotte.
