CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - As we approach the All Star Weekend the second half of this week, the weather will remain quiet with mild temperatures. Look for highs in the 60s both Thursday and Friday as the events get underway. Clouds increase on Friday, but any rain should hold off until the late evening hours. After that all bets are off as heavier rain will roll through during the overnight hours. However that could work out in favor of the big weekend as that slug of rain should push east of the greater Charlotte area quickly on Saturday morning.
With that said, I’m only expecting occasional showers for the remainder of the weekend and that does include Sunday too as cooler temperatures will also return with highs only expected in the low 50s.
Beyond the weekend, unsettled weather will continue deep into next week. Tuesday appears to be setting up for the most significant rainfall.
