LENOIR, NC (WBTV) - A multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Lenoir has left two people in the hospital and another having been treated as well.
Joseph Henry Wilson, 84, was turning left in his 2018 GMC pickup at the intersection of McLean Drive Extension to continue onto Hibriten Drive when his vehicle collided with a 1988 Oldsmobile driven by Kenneth Raymond Brown, 67.
Upon arriving at the scene shortly after 9:00 a.m., officers reported multiple injuries and arranged for Brown to be flown by helicopter to CMC-Charlotte with life-threatening injuries. He is listed as in critical condition.
Wilson was transported to Caldwell UNC Healthcare where he was treated and released. Martha W. Craig, his passenger, was also transported there where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing and no further information has been released at this time.
