STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - A Statesville man who disappeared in July 2018 has still not been found as of January 2019. His vehicle is still missing as well.

Statesville Police say it’s been six months since 53-year-old Marty Teague went missing from his Simonton Road residence. Teague was last seen around noon on July 24, 2018.

Teague is described as a white man with blue eyes and gray hair, weighing approximately 220 pounds.

The Statesville Police Department has re-focused investigative efforts towards locating Teague’s 1994 Jeep Cherokee, dark green with tan trim. The vehicle is registered under NC plate FBV-6537.

The vehicle has not been located or seen since Teague went missing and investigators are hoping that finding the jeep will provide additional leads in the case.

Family members held a prayer vigil for Marty Teague on August 14, 2018 on Emmanuel Church Road in Conover.
