NASCAR’s Brad Keselowski unveils new ‘revolutionary’ manufacturing operation

STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski is unveiling a new manufacturing operation located in Statesville that he says is “poised to start a new American industrial revolution.”
According to a press release, Keselowski has partnered with some of the world’s leading companies to form Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM).
“It’s on the cutting edge of a new technology that’s poised to start a new American industrial revolution, and it will revolutionize products for a range of industries – such as aerospace, automotive, defense, energy and oil and gas," the release says, “the work will help companies lower costs and reduce waste, while making better products with higher quality materials.”
An article in Forbes says that Keselowski invested more than $10 million in the operation, which will involve 3-D printing capabilities.
Keselowski, 34, was the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series Champion and has 27 wins at the Cup level.
