ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - Two names have been added to the Rowan Sheriff’s Most Wanted list.
In November 2018, Farmer and Merchants Bank in Salisbury reported receiving counterfeit checks that had been passed through the bank’s ATM.
Detectives with the Rowan Sheriff’s Office began investigating the source of the checks, and identified Akiira Linney, 20, and Jodi Odell, 18, as the suspects. Both suspects live in Salisbury, but are both originally from Iredell County.
Felony arrest warrants were obtained for both suspects in January 2019. Attempts to locate these two suspects have been unsuccessful so far and they may have returned to Iredell County, according to a press release.
Anyone with information about these suspects or any of the suspects on the list can contact Lt. Chad Moose (704) 216-8687, Detective Ollie Greene (704) 216-8686, or Salisbury Rowan Crime Stoppers 1-866-639-5245.
