FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) - A Nation Ford High School student is receiving the highest honor attainable in MCJROTC.

Friday, Cadet Madeleine Pollack will be presented the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross during a Change of Command ceremony at the school. Pollack is one of five to receive the award nationwide annually.

Major General William Mullen, USMC, will be the reviewing officer for Nation Ford High School Marine Corps JROTC Battalion Change of Command ceremony.

Cadet Jacob Childs will relinquish command to Cadet Landon King and will post and relieve the incoming and outgoing Cadet Battalion Sergeants Major, Fort Mill Schools says.

The Change of Command ceremony is being held in the main gym at Nation Ford High School at 4:15 p.m. The ceremony is expected to wrap up by 5 p.m.

Nation Ford High School is located at 1400 A.O. Jones Boulevard.
