CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Rain from this morning continues to gradually shift southward, slowly but surely working its way out of the WBTV viewing area.
So while most communities won’t see additional rain through this evening, it’s already back in the picture by first thing Friday with another large storm system taking aim at our area.
Since this will bring rain all day long Friday, it's another First Alert Day. Would you believe, out of the last 11 Fridays (including tomorrow) we've had measurable rain on 9 of them? Wow!
Some areas could pick up another inch or more of rain, so we'll continue to monitor for localized flooding. The best news we've got at this point is that this rain is gone by the weekend, and after that, we may finally have a week of dry weather, a feat we have not been able to accomplish for quite some time.
Enjoy your evening!
