CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A former Iredell-Statesville teacher has been arrested again after violating her probation relating to her case involving five counts of felony statutory rape of a child.
Christina Jolly was ordered no contact with the victim, after August 2018 charges for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old boy who was in a Iredell County foster home.
The boy was not her student, but recently detectives discovered she allegedly tried to reach out to the 15-year-old victim again, this time by email, which violated her probation.
Jolly is no longer a teacher in the schools system, according to the district, she resigned in August after her charges, just before the start of the 2018 school year.
WBTV tried to reach Jolly for contact but was unable to get in touch with her.
