Gun shop catches fire in Concord

CONCORD, NC (WBTV)- Firefighters in Concord responded to a fire at Eagle Gun and Range on Roberta Church Road early Sunday.

The fire was discovered just before 5 am and was brought under control within a half hour.

The fire damage was contained mostly to the attic, but there was minimal damage to inventory.

Mike Threadgill has owned Eagle Gun and Range on Roberta Church Road for seven years. The shop employs four people. The store sells guns, ammo and fishing supplies.

Investigators are still working to learn what caused the fire.
