Five killed in house fire

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTV ) -- A mother and her four children are found dead in a burned out home outside Columbia, South Carolina.

Investigators think a space heater may have caused the fire that killed them.

Friends and family have been gathering at the home, trying to comprehend the loss.

They say faith and togetherness is helping them through this tough time.

"We're family. That's what sustains us in times like these," says family pastor Antonio Arce. "If it wasn't for that hope, we need the faith."

All four children were girls ranging from ages four to 13.

Autopsies were performed today to determine the cause of death.
