Officer Involved Shooting

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a shooting which happened in North Charlotte Tuesday afternoon. 

Police were called to a residential area just north of Center City along the 400 block of Sylvania Avenue around 1:15 p.m.

When officers arrived, we know that a cop fatally shot a person.

When Sky 3 flew over the scene, there was a sheet covering the victim. 

This is the fourth CMPD officer-involved shooting since March 3, 2008.
