Charlotte's 'Cat Cafe' celebrating success stories with adoptions

Charlotte cat cafe' a purrrfect success

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - In the eight months since Mac Tabby Cat Café has been open, 86 cats have been adopted and found new loving homes.

The brainchild of Lori Konawalik, the café serves standard café fare in a cuddly atmosphere where guests are invited to snuggle up to their kitty of choice.

The cats come from local rescues and typically stay at Mac Tabby for only a month or so before their perfect person comes along.

"I would say it's more often than not, the adopters come in not planning to adopt and then the cat chooses them," said employee Kayty Harrelson.

There are two cats however, who've been at Mac Tabby for a lot longer than usual. Check out the video to see the pair that would love to find their forever home.
