CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The Charlotte Knights and Syracuse Chiefs were busy on the field Thursday completing their suspended game from Wednesday and their regularly scheduled game for Thursday night.             

In the suspended game, the Knights won 2-1 on the strength of Eloy Jimenez’ home run hit Wednesday night.

It was the White Sox top prospect’s ninth home run of the season with the Knights.

In game two, the Chiefs struck back with a 3-2 win over the Knights. Charlotte rallied late but it was not enough.

Charlotte opens a three game series at Rochester Friday.

Then the Knights return home to BB&T Ballpark Monday for a seven game homestand filled with special promotions.
