CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A driver was arrested after CMPD says they sideswiped an officer's patrol vehicle then struck a utility pole north of uptown Charlotte Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on the 2900 block of N. Graham Street near Dogwood Avenue. Police say a marked patrol vehicle was traveling outbound on Graham St. when a red SUV traveling the opposite direction sideswiped the patrol vehicle.
The officers turned around and saw the SUV hit a utility pole.
The driver, who was evaluated by Medic for minor injuries, was arrested at the scene.
The driver's name and charges have not been released.
