SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - Salisbury Family Dentistry, formerly known as Dest Family Dentistry of Salisbury, has announced the re-launch of the practice under its original name, according to a press release.
"Not only has the practice undergone a new look, but it has also brought on three new doctors, one being a native of Rowan County," the release states.
The practice is located at 140 Mahaley Avenue in Salisbury. The website is https://www.salisburyfamilydentistry.com/
Born and raised in Salisbury, Dr. Robert Barton attended North Rowan High School and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Dentistry at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
"Dr. Barton is very excited to be back in his hometown helping people feel confident in their smiles and providing a comfortable dental experience. He is looking forward to giving back to his community and meeting new friends along the way," according to the release.
Dr. Barton is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the Old North State Dental Society.
Joining Dr. Barton are Dr. Brent Smith and Dr. Lisbet Cherniavskey.
"Both are ecstatic to be joining the Salisbury Family Dentistry Team and look forward to learning more about Rowan County and all it has to offer while building healthy and happy smiles."
Dr. David Hendrick and Dr. James Garden, two of the original partners in the practice, continue to be involved and in the practice several days per month.

They have also partnered up with Salisbury Pediatric Dentistry in order to make going to the dentist a one stop shop for families.
