GASTONIA, NC (WBTV) - Officials in Gaston County are asking for help searching for a man accused of robbing a Walgreens Pharmacy Friday.

According to the Gastonia Police Department's Facebook page, a man walked into the store located in the 2500 block of E. Franklin Boulevard around 6:43 p.m.

He demanded narcotics from a pharmacy employee who complied. The suspect then fled the scene, officials say. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man was wearing a brown wig with a baseball cap, a gray shirt and jeans. The suspected vehicle is described as a silver sedan.
