YORK COUNTY, SC (WBTV) - A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident in York County Saturday night.

According to the York County Coroner's Office, 47-year-old David Belisle was killed in the accident. He lived in Fort Mill.

The incident took place in the 1400 block of East Highway 160 in Fort Mill.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Belise was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a 2015 Nissan Sedan tried to make a left turn in front of him.

The motorcycle crashed into the car and Belise was ejected. He was wearing a helmet at the time but was found dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol and the York County Coroner's Office.

Officials said consultation and toxicology testing was conducted Sunday morning morning, but advised that results can take several weeks.

There were no charges as of Sunday afternoon.
