Spotty rain continues this weekend ahead of higher rain/storm chances next week.
Saturday brings a variably cloudy sky with highs reaching the 80s by afternoon. There will be a 20-30% chance of spotty rain through the day.
Sunday features a 30% of in western North Carolina while the Upstate looks to stay mostly dry as highs reach the 80s to near 90 degrees. This will likely be the best pool day, especially in the Upstate.
While Monday has scattered rain chances, the rest of the week looks increasingly unsettled with at least a 40% chance of afternoon storms if not higher. The good news is heat levels will remain below mid-July averages.
