CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Charlotte Knights gave their fans a Fourth of July celebration Wednesday night on the field with a 4-2 win and above the field with the fireworks Sky Show!

And what a great turnout it was for the game with 10,831 fans showing up at BB&T Ballpark for the largest crowd in franchise history.

Jordan Guerrero started for the Knights going five innings allowing only one run on five hits while striking out two.

The Knights bullpen did the rest only giving up one more run over the final four innings with Ian Hamilton getting his third save of the season.

The Knights have now won five of their last eight games against the Bulls.

They wrap up their two game series with Durham Thursday night at BB&T Ballpark.
